Indigenous Studies

Honours

Are you passionate about Indigenous Studies? Honours is your opportunity to generate new knowledge and understanding, and to design, develop, and complete a significant research project.

In 2017, Nura Gili will once again be offering an Honours year in Australian Indigenous Studies.

An Honours degree in Indigenous Studies involves intensive study of the discipline during a fourth year of study. It is an exciting opportunity to immerse yourself in an area of interest and to develop a wide range of skills that can be applied in both academic and professional contexts.

The Honours year is a stand-alone program which consists of both coursework and a substantial research thesis, and may also be a pathway into a graduate research degree (MA Research or PhD).

You may be eligible to enrol in the Honours program if you have completed a Major or Minor in Indigenous Studies, or a related discipline, with a WAM of 70 or above.

We will be holding an Honours Information Session to discuss the program at:

Honours Information Session
October 6, 5pm
Nura Gili Boardroom
