2017 UNSW Indigenous Winter School Supervisor Application

The 2017 UNSW Indigenous Winter School Program will run from Monday 3 July to Saturday 8 July 2017

Please note that 1st year students are not eligible for night employment.

Should you be choosen to progress to an interview. Interviews will be held from the 15th to the 19th May with applicants notified by the 31st of May.

  • A cover letter which includes details on why you would like to be a Winter School Supervisor and details of your knowledge of Nura Gili programs.
  • A copy of your academic transcript from semester 2, 2016.

By selecting YES, you are confirming that if successful in gaining employment as a Winter School Supervisor, you will not engage in any other work from Monday July 3 to Saturday July 8. Due to WHS requirements, all successful applicants are required to only have work engagements within the program
All successful applicants will be required to attend a compulsory training day from 9am to 5pm as part of their role as a Winter School Supervisor. The date is to be confirmed but it will be either Friday June 23 or Wednesday June 28. Please tick box to confirm you understand that attendance at training is compulsory and non- attendance may result in forfeiting your position as a Supervisor. NOTE – you will be paid for the training day.
It is preferred that Winter School Supervisors are up to date with first aid. Nura Gili has negotiated with TAFE to host a one-day (Saturday) course for applicants who need to renew or gain their qualification. If you do not have current first aid qualifications, you will also be required to attend this training. Please tick box to confirm you understand that attendance at first aid training is compulsory and non-attendance may result in forfeiting your position as a Supervisor. Date for training will be Saturday the 3rd June, Saturday the 10th of June or Saturday the 17th of June at Nura Gili. NOTE – you will be paid for the training day.
